Pirayeh (Pira) Mehran
Pira is a highly accomplished IT professional with a distinguished academic background and a proven track record in various technical and leadership roles. She graduated with high Computer Programming and Systems Analysis honours from Seneca Polytechnic, Canada. She developed a robust understanding of research and development, IT customer service, and networking/connectivity early in her career.
Pira's career began with prominent organizations such as TD Bank, UPS, and ACS in Toronto. In 2000, she earned her Microsoft System Engineer (MCSE) and Database Administration (MCDBA) certifications, further solidifying her technical expertise.
In 2001, she transitioned to an international engineering firm as an IT/ICT Specialist and Project Manager. In this role, she spearheaded the implementation of several data centres, system integrations, data migrations, and mixed-use smart building projects. Pira achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2006 and her Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification in 2019, maintaining them until the end of 2025.
Recognizing the challenges companies face in their digital transformation journeys, Pira pursued a postgraduate program at Purdue University, becoming a Digital Transformation Specialist in 2022. This enhanced her ability to lead successful digital initiatives by integrating business acumen with technical expertise.
