Project: Infrastructure project to manage QC/QA of a Disaster Recovery plan (redundant data centre + data), facility transition and system migrations of five physical plant facilities 

Scope:  To deploy a duplicate data centre, quality check the data backup/restore processes, documentation, and storage areas, optimize the user interfaces and operation procedures

Client challenges:  Upgrading the existing legacy systems by converting data to new systems, migrating tools and systems which had no datasheets/specs, verifying the access of data after completion; lack of telecom coverage between plant facilities located in Grande Cache, rough roads and long distances between each plant facility

How Path helped:  Learnt the purpose and use of telecom, networking, connectivity and automation, regulations in a new industry (upstream oil and gas), performed quality checks and assurance, safeguarded systems by implementing proper procedures, changing of the day-to-day operations, preparing user manuals, creating inventory database for audit (devices, application versions and licenses, user access information)
